SERVICE INFORMATION

All of our patients are equally important to us, and we are happy to offer NHS care to anyone who requires it. Some treatments, mainly those of a cosmetic nature, or those which are not essential to obtain dental health, are only available with the dentists on a Private basis only.

We will discuss all available options for your care thoroughly and provide written care plans for your information.

We have the benefit of our Dental Hygienists, who offer a complete range of services, such as stain removal, scaling and polishing and treatments for advanced gum conditions. We also have the fantastic service of our Oral Health Educator, who spends time discussing your diet and oral health condition and gives the best advice for you on how to care for your teeth through demonstrating different techniques and methods of how to improve your oral health.

Booking appointments can be done over the telephone or at reception, you will be informed at that time which dentist you will be seeing. Please bring along details of any medication you are taking and your doctors details at each appointment. We will ask you to complete a new medical history form at the start of every new course of treatment. If you refuse to do so then the treatment we will be able to provide will be very limited and not necessarily ensure best dental health.

If you need to cancel an appointment please give us a minimum of 24 hours notice.

EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS & OUT OF HOURS CARE

Emergency care is provided at the practice during our opening hours. The practice reserves appointments each day for patients requiring an urgent appointment. Please contact the practice at 8am on the day you need to be seen. These appointments can be very popular so please be sure to call as early as possible to increase your chance of receiving an appointment the same day.

For out of hours emergency care please contact 111 where you will be able to obtain advice and if necessary treatment.
